| Fred Case started saxophone lessons at the age of nine, and then clarinet at the age of thirteen. At eighteen he became the youngest member of the United States Marine Band. ("The President's Own") in Washington, D.C., performing regularly for numerous administrations of seven presidents. He retired from the Marine Corps after nearly twenty-eight years, coming to Florida to join the Walt Disney World Band. In the years since he has played in pit orchestras for various Broadway shows, has been a regular member of the Richard Hayman's Space Coast Pops Symphony Orchestra, and adjunct professor of clarinet and saxophone at Valencia Community College. He continues his relationship with Walt Disney World as a full time member of the Disney World Holiday Orchestra in Epcot's "Candlelight Processional", performing over one hundred shows each November and December. He holds two bachelors degrees from the University of Maryland and an MBA from Southeastern University in Washington, D.C. |
